Why I fight - and How I Win

I became a criminal defense attorney because I believe justice shouldn’t depend on how much you can afford to pay. Everyone deserves a fair fight—no matter their background, income, or circumstances.

For 12 years, I stood beside some of the most vulnerable people in our system as a public defender. These were individuals the government often tried to steamroll, cut corners on, or pressure into unfair outcomes. I fought for them because someone had to. And I never stopped swinging.

Now, in private practice, I bring that same fire to every case I take. I’m known for being thorough, strategic, and relentless—especially when the stakes are high. That reputation wasn’t given. It was earned. I take a personal interest in every client, because I know what’s really on the line. This isn’t just a case. It’s your future.

My approach is simple:

  • Get in early

  • Work fast

  • Outthink and outwork the prosecution

If there’s a flaw in the evidence, a motion to be filed, or a defense to be built—I’ll find it. Some of my biggest wins didn’t happen in front of a jury. They happened before trial ever began, when focused litigation and creative legal strategy turned the tide.

I’ve defended thousands of criminal cases—from misdemeanors to serious felonies with the focus and urgency they deserved. If I take your case, I’ll give it the same relentless focus that has led to dismissals, reduced charges, and wins.
